J.W. James
J.W. James grew up in the quiet villages of the Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire countryside, spending his summers exploring wild fields, hidden woods, and babbling streams with his siblings and friends. For years, he worked in the logical world of computer programming and always insisted to his wife that he didn't know how to tell stories—joking that the technical text-books he read were only good for helping people fall asleep! Everything changed when a vivid dream sparked the idea for the Cloud-Clipper series. Just like his character Eli, who drifts off into wild adventures under the shade of an ancient oak tree, J.W. James decided to swap computer code for a sprinkle of magic. Today, he loves creating fantastical worlds that celebrate the playful innocence of youth, proving that the best adventures don't always have to make perfect sense.
